CompassTools has a certified Trimble repair technician on full-time staff. Our turn-around time is excellent. If you have a repair need, for both warranty and non-warranty equipment, contact us for an estimate.

Repair Procedure:

  1. Preliminary assessment over the phone with Myles McReynolds, our Technical Lead Engineer. We will try to resolve the problem over the phone.
  2. If the problem cannot be solved over the phone, a Repair Request will be initiated with a description of the problem.
  3. We diagnose the problem and we initiate Repair Estimate.
  4. The customer approves the Repair Estimate before repair begins.
  5. Customer is to email back the Repair Estimate.

  David Benyamin

David is a Trimble Certified repair technician, in charge of the Repair Center at CompassTools. David earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California. Early in his career David worked in the Aerospace industry in the Space Shuttle program, and later he worked in the Telecommunication industry. David has been repairing Trimble MGIS equipment for eight years.
